Product Review: Etude House Petit Darling Nails BR310 and a tip on how to make your nail polishes especially EH polishes last long.

Hello hello my dear dollies!
It's review time once again and it is an another review about Etude House's nail polishes.
You all know that I do love nail polishes and they have a special place in my heart. They are the reason why am I all girly today and loving cosmetics. My love for nail polishes grows much more and I just love every color and brand of it. To be honest I am the kind of person who doesn't want to repeat colors and just love to try more shades hehe

Moving on with the review, recently I had the urge to try brown to more neutral/nud-ish shade so I pay my favorite store a visit and fell in love with this.

This is the BR310 from their Petit Darling Nails line which is also the cheapest nail polish they have.

Since that I already have this kind of polish I will not really go into details since that they are almost the same. Just click HERE if you want a more detailed review.

As for this one, I really love the brown shade that it gives to my nails. Actually it is a pretty light brown shade that is perfect for days where you just want a neutral nail color.

I just love how it compliments my skin tone and I think that I'm gonna use this shade more often when I want that simple nails.  For the first time I'm going to re-use a nail polish haha

As usual I used two coats to get the color that is in the swatch. Since that I'm a loyal user of EH polishes, I discovered that their polishes gives that shiny look even without a top coat so that's definitely a plus! What I love most about EH polishes is the brush where it fans out pretty well making painting nails much easier. I would really love to thank EH for helping me master the art of painting the nails haha  and lastly, I love the staying power of their nail polishes. Woah! did I say I love the staying power?  Yup, you read it right my dear dollies, now I am loving the staying power of these polishes and I take back what I said on my past reviews. You just need the proper technique to make EH polishes and also other polishes to last longer.

So are you ready for the tip? Well here it goes.

Buffing and just two coats is all you need.

Actually I am not really a fan of buffing my nails before since that I find it a waste of time. I am also scared to buff my nails since that it can make your nails thinner so I skipped that part of the manicure routine. What I do is just cut my nails, file, apply a base coat, apply two coats of my preferred nail polish and lastly a top coat. See, I don't even push back my cuticles or trim them since that I have read somewhere that it is not a pretty good idea since that is the part where the skin holds the nail in place.

I've been doing this routine for a really long time now but there was this time where I want my EH polish to last longer because it would just be a waste of the pretty colors if it will just last you a day or two. So I researched on how to make it last longer and stumbled at Dazzler's Blog where I read a review about an EH polish and how she loved that it has an incredible lasting power. So I got curious on how did she do that and I guess she is the only blogger who is a fan of the staying power of EH polishes while the majority hates it including me. So I asked her on how did she do that and I was glad that she shared it to me.

What she did is just apply a good quality base coat which she uses The Face Shop's top coat, and 2-3 coats of her preferred nail polish and that's it. She doesn't apply top coat anymore since that it is already shiny and it will just make the nail polish thicker which can be prone to chipping.

So I just followed what she said and add some more routine to make the polish last longer. I now tried buffing my nails in which I read on the net can help polish adhere to the nails better, use my trusted base coat from Caronia since I don't have TFS Base coat, and lastly applied two coats of the EH nail polish and to my amaze it works! Now my EH polish last for about 5 days to a week without chipping to minor chipping. When I mean minor, it is really minor to the point that the nail polish still looks good. I am so thankful that Dazzler helped me and I am sharing this to you. Now I am saying goodbye to top coats hehe.

I hope that this will also work for you!
