Nail Art: Purple and Pink Gradient Nails

Hello my dear dollies!  How's your day so far? Me, I've been busy re-arranging my room  I'm glad that it's finished now and I'm loving my room hehe will just add some more cute decorations and I can now call it my own haven.  Just to share with you my sweet dollies, my favorite part in our house is my room. I treat is as my own home hehe I just love my room, this is the place where I can just relax, and do things that I love, like playing with makeup, painting my nails, drawing and coloring, watching T.V. and of course blogging.

So enough with the introduction  Let me just share with you my recent nail art that I am loving right now.
It's been a while since I last posted about nail art  I am sometimes just to busy or lazy to do one that's all hehe Anyway I've been wanting to try gradient nails lately and doing this kind of nail art is pretty hard for first timers in this kind of nail art. Believe me, I tried this for so many times and thank God, I actually did it.

I'm calling this Purple and Pink Gradient nails. I actually saw this at Youtube and I was really in love with the combination of colors. So here is the link for the tutorial.Plum Gradient Nails.

And this is my version of the said nail art.

Ain't it pretty?

So here are the products that I used.

  • Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat (To protect the nails)
  • Caronia Nail Polish in Pink Lily (My very first nail polish. Should make a review of this real soon)
  • Caronia Nail Polish in Purple Punch
  • Caronia Nail Polish in Platinum Glitter
  • Sassy Nail Polish in Black
  • Etude House Jelly Pop Nail Top Coat
  • Porous sponge/foam (I got this from the box of a brand new appliances or gadget)
What I did is just follow on what is on the tutorial and I am so glad that it turned out pretty nice.

Caronia Nail polishes are my very first nail polish and I love them. Not just because it's affordable, it's because they have pretty colors as well. Will surely make a separate post and swatches for this.

TIP
I tried all kinds of sponges to make the gradient effect but to no avail. What I have learned is that, you need to use porous sponges/foam. That means you need to use a sponge that has small pores on it to make the gradient effect effective. I hope you find this helpful my dear dollies.

So did you like my gradient nails? Have you tried this nail art before? Please do share your thoughts. I love to hear from you.

Take care and always stay pretty.
