Product Review: Etude House Black Charcoal Chin Pack

Hello again my dear dolls!
It's been a really long time since I have updated my blog and I feel really ashamed of myself on not sticking with my promise of having a blog post even once a week.  I know I always say sorry but I do hope that you will understand.

So let's go straight with the review

For today's review it will be the  Etude House Black Charcoal Chin Pack.

Product Description
Formulated with black charcoal additives to remove oil and pore sebum. Patch tightens pores and contains aloe vera to improve chin complexion.

From the product description itself, you will know what the product is for. I just bought this because of the really cute printed girl and for removing some whiteheads on my chin. That's the only thing and nothing else.

PRODUCT
It is like the usual eye mask but for the chin part. It smells like real charcoal that's why I didn't had the chance to put it in my chin part for a very long time since I am bothered with the smell. What I like is the cooling part which I think is not really necessary for the chin.

HOW TO USE
1.) Wet chin with water
2.) Remove clear film from pack and fasten adhesive side to chin for 10-15 minutes.
3.) Remove strip when dry.

PACKAGING
It comes in the usual sachet for mask type products. What caught my eye is the cute little girl that is printed on the front part of the packaging.  What I can say is that this is more like an eye gel patch which comes in a clear film where the product sticks and you can just simply remove it like a sticker and stick to your chin. The upper part or should I say the front part comes in color black which I think is the charcoal. Just see the photos below for a better description.

VARIANTS
From this line, it came with different products for the eyes, nose and chin. For this certain product, this is the only variant that you can buy.

AVAILABILITY
This can be purchase at any Etude House Boutiques and SM Department store beauty section/Watson's. I can say that this is also a fast moving item because it's always out of stock.

THE PRODUCT: Etude House Black Charcoal Chin Pack

PRICE:  Around Php 58-98 (Sorry I can't really remember)
PLACE: Etude House SM MOA
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:
  • Cute Packaging
  • Easy To use

WHAT I DON'T LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:
  • The smell is kind of bothering (at least for me)
  • Didn't do anything
  • Kind of expensive for a chin pack

WILL I RECOMMEND IT/ BUY IT AGAIN?:
I don't really recommend this product. It's pretty much a useless product for me. Maybe you'll buy this because of the cute packaging or simply out of curiosity.

RATING:  1/5

THE VERDICT:
If it weren't for the cute packaging and few whiteheads on my chin part, I will not buy this product. It is just a waste of money.

Have you tried this product? Can you recommend an effective chin pack? Please do let me know.

Till my next post my dear dollies.
Take care and always stay pretty!

Product Review: Caronia Nail Polish in Cherry Bomb

Hello again my dear dolls!
Got a free time again so here I am making a blog post about my very first nail polish. (Actually this is the 2nd hehe but I got my very first nail polish from the same brand.)

So let's not make the introduction too long to avoid boredom hehe
Presenting the Caronia Nail Polish in Cherry Bomb.

Since that I was just starting with nail polish before, I opt to buy from a local brand first since that they are affordable and readily available in all beauty section of the malls even at drugstores. Caronia caught my eyes because of their neat packaging, long handle and lovely colors. I bought this one together with the Pink Passion because I want to use this as a top coat for that particular polish not knowing that this nail polish can be really good on it's own.

PACKAGING
This polish comes with a clear bottle like other nail polishes and has a very long handle. This is the smaller version of the product that has 8mL of polish in it. Anyway I don't really need a bigger nail polish since that I want to change and try out different colors. You can clearly see the brand name at the front and the shade name and ingredients at the back. The brush is kind of small and doesn't fan out that big but you can still work it out.

PRODUCT
The product has 2 lines which is the Regular and the Frosted. In my opinion the regular one is much better than the frosted one since that the frosted tends to become streaky making it hard to apply. This is the only frosted product which I didn't have problems applying. This particular nail polish is really glamorous because of its glitters. The color is cherry enough for my liking and the shade name speaks for itself. When applied on the nails, it's like a cherry bomb that will explode because of its glittery color. The product is long lasting enough with very minimal chipping and will take me a week before I remove it. It dries really fast as well but doesn't look that shiny on its own so if you want it a little shinier just apply top coat on it. It's pigmented enough for one swipe but you can always add another layer if you want a more bolder color.

SWATCHES

THE PRODUCT: Caronia Nail Polish in Cherry Bomb (Frosted)

PRICE: Php around 20-30
PLACE: The Landmark Makati Beauty Section
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

  • Pigmented enough
  • Available almost everywhere
  • Affordable
  • Lots of colors to choose from
  • Packaging
  • Long lasting with just minimal chipping
  • Dries fast

WHAT I DON'T LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

  • The other variants in their frosted line is kind of hard to apply and a little bit streaky
  • The finish is not that shiny
  • Not big 3 free

WILL I RECOMMEND IT/ BUY IT AGAIN?:
I recommend this for those who just loves collecting nail polish and not really a brand conscious. I also recommend this for beginners who wants an affordable nail polish but I recommend that you buy their regular line first. I will sure buy their regular line since that they still have lots of cute colors that I really want.
RATING:
I give this product a  3/5

THE VERDICT:
Their regular line is pretty good but the bad thing is it's not free of the big 3 so I will just use it occasionally. Overall this is a good product worth trying.

Have you tried Caronia Nail polish? What do you think of them? Please do share!
