Product Review:Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub

For me, I want to start the love month with a review post hooray!
For today's review, I'll review about one of the most rave body scrub in the Philippines which is the Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening body Scrub.

This body scrub is believed to be used by the Javanese which is intended for the bride-to-be to make them beautiful in their special day.




I got this for a very long time now and I almost forgot to make a review of this. Good thing that I have an upcoming review list here n my blog. So let's start the review shall we


This is the first ever body scrub that I had. I already saw this in Watson's and wanted to try it out even before the commercial with Solenn Heussaff came out. After I saw the commercial, it reminded me to buy this but when I went to Watson's, it's out of stock. So I waited for this to be available again and finally I got my hands on this. TV commercials sure is effective in marketing products. Anyways as soon as I got this product, I tried it out and loved it to bits. First of all it's really affordable for a body scrub. It is housed in a really cute tub where you can easily scoop off the product. This comes in two sizes but I got the small one first to try it out.

This body scrub has a cream like texture and has some small white grains which I believe is the scrub.

What I love about this product is the scent. It smells like jasmine and with just the smell, you'll enjoy using this everyday.

When I got this, I used it once a week since that during weekdays, I am always in a hurry for school hehe All you have to do is scoop an ample amount of the scrub and scrub it to your desired part. In my case I scrub it all over my body especially at my back. After scrubbing, rinse it with water and you can already feel the difference. Your skin will be so soft but the softness is just temporary. After a day or two, it will be back to it's normal state but it's fine with me. I just love how it feels after using this and the good thing about this is that you can use this everyday. About it's whitening properties, I haven't seen it's whitening effect yet, but I do hope that with frequent use I can already see the improvements.

Now they already have 2 new variants but I read on some reviews that this is not as good as the green variant. I sure hope that they didn't discontinue in making this green variant.

I recommend this to those who loves body scrub and to those who are looking for an affordable body scrub. I will surely repurchase and definitely buy the bigger tub.
RATING: I give this product a  4/5

THE VERDICT:
I really love this scrub. I hope that it's really effective in whitening because I need it badly with my dark spots on my back but with the soft feeling it gives, I just can't stop touching my skin after using this.

January Haul

Hello again dollies!
It's already the end of January and that means it's haul time once again!
Maybe you are wondering why is it that I don't have a December haul? Well that's because I promise myself not to buy anything for a month because during those times I'm saving up to buy gifts for my loved ones. So let's not make this post too long shall we?

I only got a few items this time hehe I am buying lots of things recently hehe that's why my money is divided to many things not just with beauty products.  Remind you dolllies I didn't buy all of these things at once and some are bought by my prince. and by my lovable grandma. So let's start enumerating

First I'll enumerate to you the things that I bought at The Landmark Makati

I also bought St. Ives Apricot Scrub at Watson's Waltermart Makati and also during my visit at SM North Edsa with my Sweetie I bought a Tony Moly nail polish in NE01 and he bought me at Watson's a Marionnaud pointed eye shadow brush. During my visit at Robinson's Metro East with my grandparents, my grandma bought me a Careline lip gloss in 108.

I sure miss buying a lot of beauty products and when I say a lot, I mean very LOT! haha

July and August Haul

Hello dollies!
We really have a bad weather today here in the Philippines so to all my fellow Filipinos be sure to take care. Good thing that the electrical power here in our city has resumed so I had the chance to blog now.

You maybe wondering why is it that the title of this post is July and August Haul and it is already September and it is nearing to October.  Well I just want to share with you guys what I bought during the  past few months when I started being interested in beauty stuff so most of the items in this haul is actually my first.
So before this month end I will share with you my July and August haul and my September haul at the end of the month so stay tuned. Actually I am having second thoughts if I will show you my July and August haul because it is so late and it is almost the end of September but still I decided to share with you these dollies because I will be reviewing them as well to help you my dear dollies. So for my July and August haul, here they are:

The image above shows my cosmetic haul and the one below is my skin care haul. So let me introduce you to the products. From my cosmetic haul I got the Shawill 12 color cream eyeshadow, a Nichido eyelash adhesive glue and a Nichido single eyeshadow in Gold Frost. From my skin care haul, I got myself a Veet hair removal cream, Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub, Pure Beauty Essential Eye Cream, Pond's Clear Solution Antibacterial Facial Scrub and Pond's White Beauty naturals day cream. So why did I chose to buy this products?

I bought the 12 palette eyeshadow because it is so affordable and I can use it for my makeup practices. The Nichido adhesive glue and single eyeshadow is for the cosplay that I attended during the month of August. I needed a copper color eyeshadow and I saw the Gold Frost eyeshadow of Nichido and though to myself this is perfect for my cosplay makeup so I bought it together with the adhesive glue haha. For my skin care haul I bought the Veet hair removal cream because I need to remove some hair so that I can wear the costume for my cosplay but ended up wearing a different costume instead. I also bought Asian Secrets body scrub because I want to try a body scrub and I think this is a good product since I am hearing lots of raves about this product so I gave this a try. Then to reduce my dark circles and tired looking eyes, I also decided to buy an eye cream and this Pure Beauty eye cream is one of the cheapest and I heard lots of raves about this product too. I also wanted to try a facial scrub so I gave Pond's a go because this sachet is really affordable and I need to get rid of these pesky zits and oiliness in my face so I hope that this product will work for me.  Then lastly I bought the new Pond's white beauty naturals since Angelica Panganiban is endorsing it. (I really love her!) From the skin care haul, it is actually my first haha It it my first hair removal cream, eye cream, body scrub, facial scrub and moisturizer. I also bought my first toner but I already used it all up so I haven't got a chance to take a picture of it so sorry. but in case you want to know what toner it is, it is also from Pond's and it's the pink one. (Sorry I forgot the exact name) By the way I didn't buy all of these products in one go haha

So there you go my dollies my first ever monthly haul post I promise that I will now post my monthly hauls at the end of the month to keep things organize. I promise to do a review of them as well so just stay tuned dollies.
